Our classes are built on fostering a community-centered and supportive environment. We begin and end each class with a group karakia, embracing a collective spirit and commitment to growth.
In each session, you can expect a carefully structured sequence, starting with a whakawera (warm-up) and concluding with a whakatau (cool-down). Classes are designed to include whakangungu pūkenga (skill training) or whakangungu kaha (strength training), followed by a whakangungu o te rā (workout of the day), providing a comprehensive approach to fitness and development.
Our workouts are different every day. We use functional and compound movement patterns to develop powerful, strong, and capable humans. There are no machines, no mirrors, or isolation exercises. We make use of tools like kettlebells, barbells, medicine balls, tyres, yokes, and sleds. We also incorporate plyometrics, gymnastics, weightlifting, and strongman techniques. Our gym floor is used for a variety of movements: running, carrying, jumping, climbing, lifting, and throwing—providing a diverse, full-body workout experience.
Intensity is the key ingredient in our training, and it’s always relative to an individual’s physical and psychological tolerances. We can create intensity by varying load, repetitions, and work time to suit anyone. Endless variation is created by mixing and combining all of these elements into as many feasible combinations as possible, driving and developing ‘real-world’ fitness.
All of our workouts are scale-able to suit all levels of ability, function, age, and fitness. Fitness really is for everyone! Our coaches dedicate 100% of their time and energy to each class, ensuring you leave feeling empowered—whether that means becoming a bit faster, feeling stronger, or achieving better movement. At every step, we’re here to support you in reaching new milestones and becoming the best version of yourself.
